Pinterest Brazil invited its creators to a vibrant celebration inspired by the beloved Brazilian tradition of Festa Junina. The event was filled with games, photos and plenty of aesthetic food, along with awards recognizing engagement and creativity.
For this special occasion, I was invited to develop illustrated elements that reflected the Pinterest Predicts 2025, helping to create an imaginative and immersive atmosphere for all attendees.
The illustration process started with a thoughtfully curated mood board, providing key inspiration and direction for transforming the brand’s vision into distinctive visual elements.
Inspired by the rapidly growing trend of mystery boxes, I was invited not only to create illustrations but also to develop a new way to surprise creators: with mystery illustrated pins that captured some specific trend from Pinterest Predicts 2025 as comic characters. In addition to the box, I also designed an illustrated notebook inspired by the “Bobbie Goods” trend, which became the perfect hands-on activity for the day and added another layer of creativity to the celebration. The illustrations were a success for the event.
The event was extraordinary. With more than 80 content creators on site, the lampshade, the candle and the whole experience of having photo stripes and immersing themselves in the Pinterest Predicts we could see they left inspired.
